Spartans Knock off the Hoosiers in Four

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (8-6, 0-2) fell to Michigan State (12-2, 1-1) in four sets (25-15, 14-25, 15-25, 18-25). The Hoosiers came out firing, taking the first set with ease, hitting .778 in the first frame. The Spartans got the momentum in the second set and didn't let it go.
IU got 15 kills from Ivie Obeime and 13 from Kelci Marschall. Obeime was perfect in the first set, terminating all four of her swings. IU also had seven aces in the match with five in the first game, led by three from Melanie Hicks. Freshman Morgan Leach hit .500 on the night with eight kills and added two aces.
