b - Indiana Volleyball (3-2) remains unbeaten at home after knocking off Youngstown State in straight sets. IU won 25-17, 27-25, 25-17. The Hoosiers hit .405 for the match and hit at a blistering .526 clip in the final set. Freshman Morgan Leach had 10 kills and hit .562 to lead the way for IU.
The Hoosiers jumped out early and took a 20-10 advantage in the first set before closing out the set 25-17. Leach led the way, hitting .667 with six kills in the first set. She went on to finish with 10 kills, and added four blocks and three service aces. Ivie Obeime had 10 kills, and Samantha Thrower added eight kills and led the way with five blocks.
The second set saw the Penguins battle back, even holding a 17-13 advantage at one point, but the Hoosiers battled back to win 27-25. The third set was where the Hoosiers began to dominate, hitting .526. Thrower and Obeime both added four kills in the final set, the last of which from Obeime providing the final point of the afternoon, clinching the set 25-17.
