IUXC Teams Compete in Two Meets This Weekend

Adidas Invitational/Pre-Nationals Preview 
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IU cross country squads will compete in two events over the weekend beginning with the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12 in Madison, Wis. That meet will begin at 1 p.m. ET. The second event of the weekend will be hosted in Louisville, Ky., as this year's Pre-Nationals meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 13. The Indiana runners will be split between the two locations.
This year's Adidas Invite will feature 46 men's teams and 49 women's programs in the most premiere field for a regular season meet all year. On the men's side, 19 of the 30 teams ranked in the the USTFCCCA national coaches' poll will be racing on Friday, as 18 ranked teams will race on the women's side. The women's 6K championship race will start things off at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the men's 8K championship run at 1:40 p.m. ET.
The Pre-Nationals will be hosted by the University of Louisville at E.P `Tom' Sawyer State Park. There will be two races for both the men and women as the course will be 8K for the men and 6K for the ladies. The Hoosier men will run in the 10:45 a.m. ET race as the women will compete at 11:30 a.m. ET. Louisville will host the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 17.
