IU Cross Country Hosts Hoosier Invitational on Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana cross country will wrap up the 2012 regular season schedule on Friday afternoon with the annual Hoosier Invitational. The meet will take place at the IU Championship Cross Country Course in Bloomington.

There will be a women's 5K run and a men's 8K race with things getting started at 3:30 p.m. ET. There will not be team scoring for this event.

As Indiana prepares for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 9, IU's varsity runners will not be participating on Friday. Beyond the regional, the NCAA Championships are set for Saturday, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky.
