Bloomington, Ind. - Morgan Fleetwood of the Indiana field hockey team was tabbed third team All-American by Synapse Sports/womensfieldhockey.com Monday, Nov. 19.
The Freeburg, Pa. native capped off her notable career at IU with an impressive senior campaign; Fleetwood, who garnered All-Big Ten first team honors this season, set single season records in both points (38) and shots (94). She also matched the program's mark for game-winning goals in a season (six) as well as assists (12). In Indiana's 4-0 victory over Villanova on Oct. 21, she recorded her first career hat trick to become just one of just six Hoosiers in program history to accomplish such a feat.
Fleetwood also led the Hoosiers in every possible offensive category in 2012, breaking several program career records along the way, including goals (44), points (115) and shots (306). Her 14 career game-winning goals also ties Lydia Schrott's (2003-06) for best all-time in the IU record books.
