Haverly Has Five Aces in Loss to No. 11 Minnesota

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (12-20, 4-16) fell to No. 11 Minnesota (24-7, 15-5) in three (25-22, 25-20, 25-22). IU got 16 kills and five aces from Jordan Haverly in the match.
Haverly's five aces are tied with Jill Kerkhoff for the second most in IU history in a three-set Big Ten contest. Haverly finishes her season with 26 aces in Big Ten play, which is tied for the seventh most in school history. The Hoosiers also got eight kills from Kelci Marschall, 32 assists from Whitney Granado and four blocks from Samantha Thrower in their final collegiate match..
IU fell 25-22 in the first set, getting four kills and two aces from Haverly. Morgan Leach added three kills, and three Hoosiers had two in the stanza.
Minnesota won the second 25-20. Haverly got things going with six kills and two aces in the set, also adding four digs. Caitlin Hansen had four of her 11 digs in the set.
The fourth set saw IU reach a 21-13 lead, before Minnesota came charging back, taking a 25-22 set win. Haverly had six more kills in the set, and Hansen had five digs.
