GAMEDAY CENTRAL
Looking for its third consecutive Big Ten victory, the Indiana football team (4-5, 2-3 Big Ten) closes out its home schedule with a Leaders Division showdown against Wisconsin (6-3, 3-2 Big Ten), on Saturday, Nov. 10. Kickoff is set for noon EST at Memorial Stadium (52,929; FieldTurf) and ESPN2 will broadcast the game.
THE COACHES
Kevin Wilson is in his second season as head coach at Indiana. Wilson spent the 2002-10 seasons at Oklahoma, where he served as co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach from 2002-05 and as offensive coordinator and tight ends and fullbacks coach from 2006-10.
Bret Bielema is 66-22 (.750) in his seventh season at Wisconsin. He has led the Badgers to back-to-back Big Ten titles and Rose Bowl appearances. Bielema served as the team's defensive coordinator in 2004 and 2005.
NEWS & NOTES
• Indiana has scored 24-or-more points in each game this season and 10 straight overall, a school record.
• The Hoosiers have scored more points (298) in 2012 than they scored all of last season (257).
• IU leads the Big Ten in passing offense (299.9-23rd nationally) and kickoff returns (23.6-38th), is second in total offense (446.7-35th) and sacks allowed (1.33-T-24th), and third in scoring offense (33.1-43rd).
• Indiana leads the Big Ten in tackles for loss (7.4-ninth nationally) and is third in sacks (2.4-33rd).
• The Hoosiers defense has given up just 17 points in the last 102:12.
• IU has won back-to-back Big Ten games for the first time since 2007.
• Cody Latimer earned co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after hauling in seven catches for 113 yards and three touchdowns in the Hoosiers win over Iowa.
• Latimer is the first Hoosier since Ben Chappell (Sept. 20, 2010) to earn the award.
• Kofi Hughes joined Latimer over 100 yards with 110, his third career time over the century mark.
• They are the first Hoosiers to go over 100 yards in a Big Ten game since Oct. 3, 1992. Eddie Baety (120) and Scott McGowan (106) did so against Michigan State.
• Cameron Coffman completed 21-of-33 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns. His 315-yard total is a career-high and the first 300-yard day for a Hoosier since Ben Chappell at Purdue on Nov. 27, 2010.
• Stephen Houston's TD streak ended at nine straight games, tied for the second-longest mark in IU history.
• Indiana lost its first fumble in 2012, the final FBS team to lose one, and its first since game seven last year.
• Adam Replogle and Larry Black, Jr., are tied for the Big Ten lead among DTs with four sacks and nine TFLs.
• Indiana held Iowa to 96 rushing yards, its first Big Ten opponent under 100 since Nov. 27, 2010 (Purdue - 58).
