Replogle MVP, Additional Hoosiers Honored at Football Banquet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior defensive tackle Adam Replogle was named Indiana's Most Valuable Player at the football program's banquet on Friday evening. Head coach Kevin Wilson also honored the team's seniors and recognized several additional team awards.
Replogle, who yesterday became the eighth Hoosier to earn Academic All-America first team honors, is a three-time Capital One Academic All-District V selection and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
On the field, Replogle garnered second team All-Big Ten recognition following the regular season. He started an Indiana record 47 games and finished his career with 184 tackles, 15 sacks, which is ninth in school history, and 28.5 tackles for loss.
In 2012, Replogle led the team with five sacks (tied for seventh in the Big Ten), 13 tackles for loss (seventh) and two forced fumbles (tied for 10th) and finished third with 71 tackles. His 5.9 tackles per game topped all Big Ten defensive linemen, and he closed second among defensive tackles in sacks and TFLs.
Replogle is also a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award, was one of 10 finalists for the ARA Sportsmanship Award, was a nominee for the 2012 AFCA Good Works Team and was a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy.
