ELLETTSVILLE, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball is giving back this spring by volunteering throughout the community. IUHoosiers.com recently followed IU Volleyball players Kelci Marschall and Samantha Thrower on their weekly trip to Boys and Girls Club of Ellettsville. IU Volleyball spends each spring volunteering at four different non-profit organizations in Monroe County.
About Boys and Girls Club of Ellettsville:
The newest Club in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington family, the Ellettsville Club opened in 2009. Located in Eagles Landing -- the old Ellettsville Elementary School -- the facility includes a learning center, art studio, technology lab, teen club and game room. The Club features extensive program options for members including tutoring, cooking, drama, arts, sports, fitness and more. Additionally, members have the ability to attend summer day camp at Camp Rock, as well as winter and spring break camps. The Club provides free transportation for members to get to the Club after school each day.
