• The 19-point margin of victory ties for the largest this season by Indiana in a true road game (at Evansville).
• The last time Indiana won a road Big Ten game by 19 points was Feb. 11, 2004, at Penn State, 75-56.
• The victory in Minneapolis is the first for IU since Jan. 17, 2008.
• Indiana now leads the all-time series against Minnesota, 94-66 and head coach Tom Crean is 3-7 against the Golden Gophers.
• The Hoosiers had four players score in double figures but none had more than 12 points and nine different players scored in the game for IU.
• Indiana grabbed 41 rebounds in the game, the most since hauling in 53 at Purdue on Feb. 4.
• Minnesota shot 31 percent from the field for the game, the second-lowest opponent field goal percentage by an opponent in Big Ten play against Indiana (.296 at Purdue).
• The Hoosiers were 6-of-12 from 3-point land, the 11th time this season that IU has shot 50 percent or better from long range in a game this season.
• Indiana was 21-of-25 at the free throw line in the game, the seventh time in Big Ten play that the Hoosiers have made at least 21 free throws in a game.
• The 84 percent at the free throw line is the third-highest percent of the season for Indiana and the highest since shooting 88 percent (22-of-25) at home against Minnesota.
• The Hoosiers held Minnesota to just 18 made field goals for the game, the second-fewest in Big Ten play (17 vs. Penn State on Jan. 22, 2012).
• Indiana led 21-18 with 7:10 left in the first half and went on a 25-10 run over the next 12:10 to take a 46-28 edge.
• Junior Christian Watford scored 12 points, aided by a 7-of-7 effort at the foul line, and grabbed six rebounds in 28 minutes.
• Junior Jordan Hulls also scored 12 points and added two rebounds and three assists (no turnovers). He also blocked a shot, the eighth of his career and second this season for the six-foot guard. Hulls was 2-for-4 from long distance, giving him 158 in his career to move into eighth place on the career list at Indiana, trailing Damon Bailey's 166 for seventh place.
• Hulls now has 874 career points, moving into 55th place on the Indiana career scoring list, passing Roderick Wilmont and Jon P. McGlocklin.
• Sophomore Victor Oladipo also had 12 points while also grabbing a team-best eight rebounds and two steals. The eight rebounds matches his career high.
• Senior Verdell Jones III scored 11 points off the bench as well as grabbing a season-high seven rebounds and dishing out three assists. He now has 1,328 career points, nine points shy of passing Ted Kitchel for 23rd on the Indiana career scoring list.
• Sophomore Will Sheehey got the start for Indiana and scored seven points and hauled in three rebounds.
• Freshman Cody Zeller tallied seven points and two rebounds while battling foul trouble in the second half.
• Junior Derek Elston continued his strong play of late with three points and five rebounds in 14 minutes.
• Senior Matt Roth connected on 1-of-4 triples to account for his three points.
• Freshman Austin Etherington pulled down a rebound in his three minutes of action.
• Freshman Remy Abell made a pair of free throws for his two points.
• Senior Tom Pritchard had three rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes off the bench.
