Indiana men's tennis (6-3, No. 26) comes back from a 16-day break to take on No. 29 Notre Dame on Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET. This is the second meeting between the intrastate rivals this season, as the Hoosiers and Irish took the courts in Columbus, Ohio on January 28th, with IU prevailing 6-1.
IU is coming off a disappointing loss at No. 20 Oklahoma on Feb. 12. The Hoosiers are 5-0 at home this season and 6-0 in non-road contests. All three of IU's losses have come to higher ranked opponents on the road. Josh MacTaggart leads the Hoosiers this season, having won his last four matches at No. 2 singles, and he is ranked No. 83 nationally by the ITA.
Notre Dame (10-4) is coming off three-straight wins, with the last two coming at No. 30 Michigan and at home over No. 56 Michigan State. Losses for the Irish this season have come to No. 5 Duke, No. 7 Kentucky, No. 18 Illinois and the Hoosiers. They are led by No. 49 Greg Andrews, who scored a big win over No. 13 Alex Musialek in the team's loss to Kentucky.
