STRONG START
The Hoosiers have equaled the second best start in program history through seven games, matching the 2004 squad's 5-2 mark. The 1998 team began the year with a 5-1-1 record. Three of Indiana's five wins this season have come against teams ranked among the Varsity Top-20.
RECORD WATCH
Senior goalkeeper Cassie Wyckoff has registered 836 career saves and is 55 shy of IU's all-time leader Jessica Goldner (891). Wyckoff is off to a productive start in 2012, recording double-digit saves in six of seven games. The Los Altos, Calif. native blocked 54 shots at the UCSB Winter Invite to pick up her second CWPA Western Division Defensive Player of the Week of the season. She also set a career-high with 18 saves in the win over Concordia.
DISHING THE ROCK
Freshman Colleen McNaught has made a habit of finding the open teammate in scoring position early in her debut season, recording a team-high 10 assists. McNaught had a career-best four assists in the Hoosiers' 8-7 win over No. 19 Cal State Northridge at the UCSB Winter Invite. McNaught is also the second leading scorer for the Hoosiers, notching eight goals, including a hat trick in the win over No. 17 UCSB.
HOMECOMING
Sophomore Amanda Redfern returned to her stomping grounds of Santa Barbara, Calif. with a splash, giving the Hoosiers a two-goal lead with back-to-back goals in a span of 37 seconds in the win over CSUN. She followed that up with a score in the second half of the overtime win at UCSB.
CENTURY MARK
Through 46 career contests, sophomore Shae Fournier has surpassed the century mark in steals with 104, giving her a 1.89 steals per game average. She leads the team in 2012 with 17 takeaways, as well team-bests of 18 goals and 27 field blocks.

Freshman Nina Escobedo recorded her first collegiate goal in the 9-4 victory over Concordia. Fellow freshman Shelby Taylor posted her first multi-goal game, notching a pair of scores against CSUN.
