BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -
The No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team (11-4, 1-1 CWPA West) travels to Thornton, Colo. on March 3-4 for three contests at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center.
The Hoosiers will begin the weekend with an exhibition matchup against the Calgary Renegades at 10:30 a.m., followed by a clash with Colorado State at 2:30 p.m. Indiana defeated the Rams, 9-6, at the Michigan Kick-Off on January 22.
The Cream and Crimson will round out the slate against Cal State East Bay on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

A LOOK BACK...
The Hoosiers won three of four contests a week ago in Troy, N.Y. to move to 11-4 on the season. Indiana opened the weekend with a convincing 13-7 triumph over No. 16 Hartwick to kickoff CWPA Western Division play. The Hoosiers followed up with wins over Brown (12-11) and Marist (9-3) on the same day. The Cream and Crimson ended the slate with a 9-8 divisional loss to No. 14 Maryland.
HOOSIERS IN THE POLLS
The Hoosiers dropped two spots to No. 13 in the latest Varsity Top-20. There were also changes in the CWPA Poll as Maryland took over the top spot and Indiana moved to No. 2. Michigan occupies the No. 3 position.
SAVES LEADER
Senior goalkeeper Cassie Wyckoff surpassed Jessica Goldner's 891 saves to become the IU all-time leader during the Hoosiers' trip to Troy, N.Y. Wyckoff eclipsed the record in the second quarter of the win over Brown. The Los Altos, Calif. native has 923 career stops, including 171 this season. She has posted 12 double-digit save outings in 2012.
CENTURY CLUB
Sophomore Shae Fournier became the 17th Hoosier to score 100 career goals, accomplishing the feat in 53 games played. Fournier also set a career-high with five goals scored against Brown. She has posted four or more goals in six contests this season and is averaging 2.87 goals per game. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native scored 13 during the four-game slate in New York to earn Co-Player of the Week honors in the CWPA Western Division.
TRIFECTAS
Freshman Summer Creighton and sophomore Meghan Lappan recorded their first career hat tricks in the 13-7 win over No. 16 Hartwick. Creighton also recorded two steals, two field blocks, and an earned exclusion. Lappan chipped in with two assists, two steals, an earned exclusion, and an earned five-meter penalty.
HOOSIER NOTES
- The Hoosiers set a season-high with 11 field blocks in the 13-7 win against No. 16 Hartwick. Indiana is a perfect 5-0 this season when registering at least eight field blocks and 6-0 when grabbing double-digit steals.
- Freshman Katie Contreras fired in her first career goal against Hartwick. The Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. native also had a steal and a field block in the win over the Hawks.
- Freshman Alynn Reade notched her first two career goals over the weekend in Troy, N.Y., scoring in wins against Brown and Marist.
- Six of Indiana's 11 wins have come against teams ranked among the Varsity Top-20.
