BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -
The No. 12 Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team (13-4, 1-1 CWPA West) will head west to begin their spring break trip at the Roadrunner Invitational hosted by CSU Bakersfield.
The Hoosiers will begin the weekend with a matchup against No. 19 Long Beach State at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, followed by the program's first meeting with Azusa Pacific at 2:45 p.m. The Cream and Crimson will take on Wagner at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, before rounding out the tournament with an 11:15 a.m. contest against CSU Bakersfield.

A LOOK BACK...
The Hoosiers competed in the CSU Tournament on March 3-4 in Thornton, Colo., winning games against Colorado State and Cal State East Bay. Indiana improved to 13-4 on the season with the two non-conference victories.
HOOSIERS IN THE POLLS
Indiana moved up one spot to No. 12 in the latest Varsity Top-20. The Hoosiers are tied with Michigan for the No. 2 position in the CWPA Poll, with Maryland holding the top ranking.
HIGH SCORING
The Hoosiers unleashed their highest scoring output of the 2012 season against Colorado State, notching 16 goals in the win, including 10 in the first half. Sophomore Shae Fournier recorded a career-high-tying five goals in the win. The Hoosiers also received two-goal efforts from freshman Summer Creighton and sophomores Meghan Lappan and Amanda Redfern. A total of nine players found the back of the net for the Cream and Crimson.
TOPS IN THE CONFERENCE
The Hoosiers feature the CWPA's leader in scoring (Shae Fournier) and saves (Cassie Wyckoff). Fournier has 51 goals and is averaging three goals per game in 2012. She is coming off back-to-back Western Division Player of the Week awards. Wyckoff has 189 saves this season, including 13 double-digit performances.
HAT TRICK
Freshman Alynn Reade posted her first career hat trick on three-for-three shooting in the 8-5 win over Cal State East Bay, including a pair of fourth period scores. Reade also earned a kickout in the contest. She finished the weekend with four goals, an assist, and a field block.
HOOSIER NOTES
- Freshman Nina Escobedo has started in three games this season and has recorded a goal in each. The San Diego, Calif. native scored in back-to-back games at the CSU Tournament.
- Freshman Colleen McNaught continues to distribute the ball at a high level, leading the team with 29 assists on the year. She recorded three assists in the win over Colorado State and has dished out three or more helpers on four occasions.
