COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team (No. 36 Golfstat, No. 40 Golfweek/Sagarin) posted a 31-over 599 (292-307) at the Kepler Intercollegiate and will head into Sunday's final round deadlocked with host Ohio State atop the leaderboard.
The Hoosiers and Buckeyes hold a one-shot lead over SMU after two rounds. SMU's Max Buckley is on top of the individual leaderboard at 5-over 147 (73-74).
Indiana received solid production throughout the lineup with each player among the top-26 heading into Sunday.
The Hoosiers were led by sophomore David Mills' 6-over 148 (72-76) to tie for second. The Evansville, Ind. native is looking for his fourth top-10 showing of the 2011-12 campaign.
Senior Chase Wright is tied for 13th after a 9-over 151 (74-77). Junior Brant Peaper finished the day with a 10-over 152 (77-75) to tie for 19th.
Senior David Erdy and junior Corey Ziedonis are each tied for 26th after two rounds. Erdy played well early, posting a 72, but fell back with a second round 81. Ziedonis had scores of 74 and 79.
The Hoosiers, paired with Ohio State and SMU, will tee off beginning at 9:51 a.m. on Sunday.
