Mills, Wright Named to PING All-Midwest Region Team

David Mills and Chase Wright of the Indiana men's golf team were selected to the PING All-Midwest Region Team, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
A total of 155 players across six regions - Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2012.
Mills, a rising junior, finished the 2011-12 campaign with a 73.23 stroke average. The Evansville, Ind. native was consistent throughout the year, racking up five top-10 performances, including a fourth place finish at the Big Ten Championships to garner a spot on the All-Championship Team. Mills will enter his junior season with the fifth lowest career average in the IU record book with a mark of 73.55.
Wright, earning his second consecutive All-Midwest selection, put together a stellar senior season with a team-best stroke average of 72.84. Wright notched six top-10 finishes during 2011-12, including a pair of top-5 showings. The Muncie, Ind. native ended his Hoosier career with the fourth lowest career scoring average in program history at 73.30.
