Butler Punches Ticket to Trials in the 400

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana's Kind Butler clocked a time of 45.43 to claim his spot at the U.S. Olympic Trials in a week. Butler ran the third-fastest time in IU history at the American Milers Club meet at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium.
Butler's time of 45.43 seconds ranks third in school history and is the 16th fastest time in the U.S. this outdoor season. The senior will run the 400m at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., looking for a bid to the 2012 London Olympiad.
