BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's tennis (24-10, 7-4 Big Ten, No. 22) had a historic season, breaking the school record for wins in a season and claiming an NCAA Tournament victory for the second time in school history, and with their ranking in the final ITA National Rankings, the Hoosiers have again made history. At number 22 nationally, the Hoosiers finish the season with the highest ranking in program history. It is the third time in program history that the team has finished the season in the top 25, as the program finished 24th in the rankings in 1989 and 1991.
The Hoosiers return first team All-Big Ten players Isade Juneau and Josh MacTaggart next season and will look to replace three outgoing seniors with an incoming freshman class that was ranked 15th nationally by TennisRecruiting.net. The recruiting class is highlighted by Sam Monette from Canada, who in April took Canadian U18 national titles in singles and doubles play.
