IU Kicks Off Fox Soccer College Broadcast Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's soccer team will kick off a 21-game NSCAA College Game of the Week schedule on the Fox Soccer Channel this fall.
The Hoosiers get things started on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. ET as it takes on the Chivas de Guadalajara U-23 squad at the ShinDigz National Soccer Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind. The Hoosiers are the only collegiate program this season to have a preseason game televised nationally, as they take on the storied Mexican professional squad.
The 2012 season is just weeks away, with the team reporting for preseason camp on Aug. 7. The squad will take the field on Aug. 14 for an exhibition match against UIC at 7:30 p.m. ET in Bloomington before heading to Fort Wayne for the match against Chivas.
The season officially gets underway on Aug. 24 as Indiana takes on Saint Louis at the Billikens' SLU Tournament. IU's home opener is Friday, Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET against Clemson as part of the annual adidas/IU Credit Union Classic.
