Davies Competes at English Women's Open

Senior Rosie Daves continues to sharpen her game with tournament play in her native England.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University senior golfer Rosie Davies is keeping her game sharp this summer, recently competing in the English Women's Open Mid-Amateur Championship at Wetherby in her native England.

Davies finished tied for ninth with a two-round score of 150, posting identical scores of 75 in each round. Emma Carberry won the tournament on the par-73 course with a score of 139 (71-68).

Davies and her Hoosier teammates will kick off the 2012-13 season Sept. 8-9 as they play host to the IU Fall Kickoff at the IU Golf Course in Bloomington.
