2012 Women's Youth Cup Complete Results

MONTREAL, Quebec - Rising sophomore Shelby Taylor of the Indiana women's water polo team captured the gold medal at the 2012 Women's Youth Cup in Montreal, Quebec on Saturday, competing for Team Alberta.

Alberta defeated British Columbia in the gold medal game, 10-9. Taylor came through with three goals in the win, including a pair in the fourth period. Alberta finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record.

Taylor, a Calgary, Alberta native, finished the event with 13 goals.

Jessica Gaudreault, an incoming freshman for the Hoosiers, was named Most Valuable Goalkeeper of the event while competing for Team Manitario.
