Hoosier Compete at USA Diving Nationals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University divers continued their summer season this past week with the AT&T USA Diving National Championships held in Greensboro, N.C.
Senior Amy Cozad was runner-up in the women's platform competition with a score of 348.15. Cozad was in first place heading into the final round after tallying 338.40 points.
Kate Hillman finished 20th in the women's platform competition with a score of 251.95.
Junior Darian Schmidt placed fifth on the 1-meter springboard, posting a score of 368.15. Schmidt held the sixth-place spot after the semifinal round of the 3-meter springboard with 416.10 points. He went on to place 10th (422.60).
Former Hoosier Gabby Agostino finished 11th on the 3-meter springboard, tallying 254.10 points. She also teamed with Logan Kline to place second in the synchronized springboard event with 291.30 points.
Agostino finished up competition with a second-place finish on the 3-meter springboard by scoring a total of 308.15 points.
Junior Conor Murphy posted a fourth-place finish on the platform with a score of 384.30. Murphy snuck into the platform final, finishing eighth in the semifinal with a score of 369.95.
