Indiana at Massachusetts

• Indiana totaled 606 yards of offense for the day, marking the first time IU had surpassed 600 offensive yards since Oct. 6, 2001 at Wisconsin (631 yards).
• As a team, Indiana rushed for 331 yards on the ground, which marked the first time IU had ran for 300 yards since Oct. 29, 2011, against Northwestern (319 yards).
• Indiana opened up a 21-6 lead after one quarter. The Hoosiers last scored 21 points in a quarter vs. South Carolina State on Sept. 17, 2011 (21 points).
• Indiana had eight players rush the ball during the game.
• The Hoosiers had 11 players catch passes on the day.
• Quarterback Tre Roberson scored his fourth career touchdown when he ran 50 yards for his first score of the game to put the Hoosiers up 7-0. That run was the longest TD run for a Hoosier quarterback since Kellen Lewis scored from 75 yards out vs. Western Kentucky on Aug. 30, 2008.
• Roberson later scored on a 39-yard TD run at the 10:24 mark of the first quarter for his second rushing score of the day. The two rushing touchdowns are a new career single-game mark for Roberson.
• Roberson finished the game with 114 rushing yards, his highest total on the ground since running for 121 yards against Northwestern on Oct. 29, 2011. He also went 7-for-14 through the air for 88 yards and a touchdown pass.
• True freshman running back Tevin Coleman set career marks rushing for 86 yards on 14 carries, averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
• Running back Isaiah Roundtree saw his first action as a Hoosier, running for 62 yards on 10 carries, which averages to 6.2 yards per run. The sophomore also added his first career touchdown in the third quarter.
• With Indiana holding a 38-6 lead at halftime, it marked the highest point total in a half for the Hoosiers since Sept. 2, 2010 (38 vs. Towson, first half).
• In his first two drives playing quarterback for Indiana, Cameron Coffman went 8-for-11 for 92 yards as both ended in Hoosier touchdowns.
• Mitch Ewald kicked his 72nd career PAT on IU's final touchdown drive. That total puts Ewald alone in sixth place all-time in school history in the extra points department.
• Sophomore cornerback Kenny Mullen and sophomore linebacker David Cooper both set career highs in tackles as both defenders finished the game with eight total tackles each.
• Sophomore Cody Latimer led the Hoosiers in receiving with a career-high 68 yards on five catches.
• Coffman connected with Charles Love III for a 12-yard score early in the fourth quarter, marking the first career TD pass for Coffman and first career TD catch for Love III.
• Coffman paced the Hoosiers passing attack, completing 16-of-22 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown pass. He finished with a completion percentage of 72.7 percent for the game.
• Sophomore defensive back Tim Bennett recorded his first career sack for an 11-yard loss midway through the fourth quarter.
• Sophomore defensive end Ryan Phillis tallied the first sack of his career for a six-yard loss during the third quarter.
• Indiana's 45 points are the most scored in a single game for the Hoosiers since scoring 51 against Towson on Sept. 2, 2010.
• UMass won the coin toss and elected to defer.
• Sophomore wide receiver Nick Stoner and true freshman running back Tevin Coleman made their first career starts.
• Fifth-year senior center Will Matte and senior defensive tackle Adam Replogle served as Indiana's game captains for the second straight game.
