Wagner Selected to Preseason All-Big Ten Team

Amanda Wagner of the Indiana softball team was recently named to the 2013 Preseason All-Big Ten squad by College Sports Madness. The senior was the lone Hoosier to be recognized on the list.
Wagner returns for the Hoosiers after landing second team honors in 2012. The Burbank, Ill. native led the conference with a .576 on-base percentage while her slugging percentage (.717) ranked third. Wagner's .400 batting average tied for sixth-best among conference players. Additionally, she drew 20 walks in 24 conference games, the third-most in the Big Ten and her 22 RBI ranked fifth in the Big Ten.
