BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Wide receiver Cody Latimer earned ESPN's AT&T All-America Player of the Week honors following his performance in Indiana's 52-35 victory over Illinois. The junior set career-highs with 11 receptions, 189 yards and three scores (tied), which is the second-most in a single game in IU history.
Latimer collected his fourth 100-yard game in 2013 and the sixth of his career. He sits 11th with 118 catches, ninth with 1,830 yards and fifth with 16 receiving touchdowns on the Hoosiers career charts.
The Dayton, Ohio, native is tied for the Big Ten lead in receiving TDs (8, T-16th nationally), tied for second in receptions (55) and receptions per game (6.1), and third in yards (884, 20th nationally) and yards per game (98.2, 22nd nationally).
Opening up a two-game road stretch, Indiana (4-5, 2-3 Big Ten Leaders) will face Wisconsin (7-2, 4-1 Big Ten Leaders) on Saturday, Nov. 16. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CST/noon EST at Camp Randall Stadium (80,321; FieldTurf) and ESPN2 will televise the game.
