BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Leaving Bloomington for the final time this season, the Indiana football team (4-6, 2-4 Big Ten Leaders) will meet No. 4/3 Ohio State (10-0, 6-0 Big Ten Leaders) on Saturday, Nov. 23. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST at Ohio Stadium (102,329; FieldTurf) and ABC/ESPN2 will televise the game.
THE COACHES
Kevin Wilson is in his third season as Indiana head coach. Wilson spent the 2002-10 seasons at Oklahoma, where he served as co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach from 2002-05 and as offensive coordinator and tight ends and fullbacks coach from 2006-10.
Urban Meyer is 22-0 in his second season as Ohio State head coach. Meyer owns a 126-23 (.846) record in his 12th overall year with stints at Bowling Green (2001-02), Utah (2003-04) and Florida (2005-10).
NEWS & NOTES
• Indiana had scored 28-or-more points in 10 straight games dating back to last season, a program record, before the streak came to a halt at Wisconsin last weekend.
• The Hoosiers 52 touchdowns are a school single-season record, surpassing the previous mark of 50 in 1988 and 2007, and their 28 TD passes are tied for the most in a single season (2007).
• IU is the only team in the FBS with four players with 100 receptions and 1,000 yards in their careers, the first team since 2011 (Houston and Texas A&M) and the first Big Ten team since 2008 (Northwestern).
• Indiana is the first team in Big Ten history, the only team in the FBS and the first team since 2011 (Houston) with five 1,000-yard pass-catchers playing together at one time.
• Cody Latimer (123; 1,872), Kofi Hughes (120; 1,782), Shane Wynn (118; 1,379) and Ted Bolser (112; 1,313) have reached 100 and 1,000, while Duwyce Wilson (81 and 1,043) has surpassed 1,000 yards.
• Bolser, who is one of eight semifinalists for the John Mackey Award, is the Hoosiers all-time tight ends leader in yardage and TDs (14) and is second in catches. Bob Stephenson (1978-81) holds the all-time record with 115.
• IU has the fifth fewest three-and-outs in the country, doing so just 25 times in 145 drives (17.2 percent).
• Indiana is T-3rd nationally in 60-plus yard plays (7), T-3rd in 50-plus yarders (13), 2nd in 40-plus yarders (26), 2nd in 30-plus yarders (38) and T-6th in 20-plus yarders (70).
• True freshman Clyde Newton posted a team season-high 14 tackles at Wisconsin in his second career start at weak-side linebacker. Newton made 11 stops in his first career start the previous week against Illinois.
• The Hoosiers have forced 14 turnovers (eight fumbles) and converted them into 70 points this season.
• Mitch Ewald is IU's all-time leader in field goals, field goal percentage, extra points and total points (kickers). He is 9-of-9 (FGs) and 46-of-46 (PATs) in 2013 and one of four kickers nationally without a miss.
