BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana right tackle Ralston Evans and linebacker Clyde Newton talked to IUHoosiers.com about the team's final road game of the season at Ohio State. Saturday's kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST and ABC (ESPN2) will broadcast the contest from Ohio Stadium.
Dave Fleming (play-by-play), Chris Spielman (analyst) and Shannon Spake (sideline) will call the game. It can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network, Sirius 119 and XM 202 with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Buck Suhr (analyst) and Joe Smith (pre-game, halftime and post-game) on the broadcast.
Evans has started each of IU's 10 games at right tackle in 2013. He is one of two Hoosiers (left tackle Jason Spriggs) to not miss a game. Evans and the offensive line have allowed just one sack every 26.9 pass attempts and Indiana is averaging 39.1 points, 189.9 rushing yards, 306.9 passing yards and 496.8 total yards per game.
Newton became the second Hoosiers true freshman (middle linebacker T.J. Simmons) to start at linebacker this season. He earned his first start on the weak-side and recorded 11 tackles in the team's win over Illinois. Newton then collected a team season-high 14 stops at Wisconsin last weekend.
