Indiana Wraps Up Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana cross country hosted the Hoosier Invitational on Friday afternoon at the IU Championship Cross Country Course. The Invite was the final race of the season for those runners not competing in the NCAA Regional next weekend. There was no team score.
The IU men had five runners finish in the top 10 led by Nolan Fife and Owen Skeete. Fife ran the 8K course in a time of 25:13.6 finishing second just a step ahead of Skeete who placed third clocking in at 25:13.9.
IU's Kyle Overway came in fifth place in 25:30.6 with Josh Roche coming in eighth in 25:33.3. Indiana's Tyeson Mundy rounded out the top 10 with a time of 25:41.0.
In the women's race, Molly Winters led the Hoosier runners with a sixth place finish in the 5K run in a time of 18:33.1. Kelsey Kluesner was the next IU runner to cross the line in 10th place in a time of 19:21.4.
Indiana's Samantha Gwin clocked in at 19:36.5 in 15th position. Taylor Wiley finished in 19th place in 19:41.4.
Next up for IU cross country is the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15 in Madison, Wis.
