ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament this week is played at Redstone Golf Club, the annual site of the PGA Tour stop for the Shell Houston Open.
Indiana will be making its first appearance in the state of Texas since March 25, 2011, when they played in the Border Olympics Tournament in Lorado, Texas. In that tournament, Indiana finished tied for seventh out of 19 teams.

HOOSIERS IN THE RANKINGS
Indiana closed out the fall season ranked No. 43 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Top 50, trailing only Illinois and Northwestern among Big Ten teams. In the Golfstat rankings, the Hoosiers checked in at No. 48 this week.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the Hoosiers took to the course as a team, they finished tied for fifth place at the Big Ten Match Play Championships in Bradenton, Fla. Brant Peaper led the way over the three matches with a 2-0-1 mark.
Indiana started by losing a tough 2-1-2 match to Ohio State in the quarterfinals. They dropped to the consolation bracket and took care of Purdue, 3-0-2 before earning a tie with Northwestern in the fifth place match, 2-2-1.
