BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 60 Indiana women's tennis team welcomes the No. 22 Notre Dame Fighting Irish to the IU Tennis Center on Sunday, Feb. 24. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET.
Notre Dame sits at 5-3 on the young season and will look to rebound after dropping its last two matches against Purdue and Northwestern. The Fighting Irish have a 2-3 record this season against Big Ten opponents.
Britney Sanders is the lone Notre Dame player ranked in singles as she sits at No. 74 nationally. In doubles, Sanders teams with Julie Sabacinski and they are ranked No. 30 nationally in doubles. ND's Molly O'Koniewski and Jennifer Kellner sit at No. 59 in the latest national doubles rankings.
IU hopes to get back on the right track after dropping two heartbreaking 4-3 matches last weekend at No. 25 Tennessee and Kentucky. The Hoosiers have yet to lose at home this season and sit at 8-2 on the year.
This will be the third time this season that Notre Dame has competed in the same event as Indiana. Both squads were in the same fall tournament on two different occasions.
