Hoosiers Struggle After Strong Start to Round Two

HUMBLE, Texas - The Indiana Men's Golf team (No. 50 Golfstat/No. 48 Golfweek) got off a strong start in round two of the Bayou City Collegiate Championship but ended up with a score of 297 (+9) and will enter the final round in 14th place at Redstone Golf Club.
Once again it was Peaper that led the charge for Indiana in the second round, as he started with a pair of birdies over his first three holes of the day. After a couple bogey's to end his front nine, he tallied three birdies on his first five holes on the way in before a couple of bogey's left him at just 1-under on the round.
David Mills registered a 2-over par round of 74 with a pair of birdies and four bogey's to his credit. Michael McGee's round of 76 included 14 pars and a pair of double bogey's. Hugo Menendez also carded a 76 with five bogey's and one birdie.
The fifth score for the Hoosiers in round two was a 77 from Corey Ziedonis.
The final round of the tournament will get underway on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
