Oladipo Named Big Ten Player of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana junior guard Victor Oladipo has been named Big Ten Player of the Week after leading the Hoosiers to a 72-68 win over No. 4/5 Michigan State in East Lansing on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Oladipo, a native of Upper Marlboro, Md., scored six points in the final 50 seconds to help the Hoosiers overcome a four-point deficit for the win. He finished with 19 points to reach the 1,000-point mark in his career, and added nine rebounds, five steals and a block. Oladipo shot 63.6 percent from the field and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line in 30 minutes of play.

This week's honor is the third of Oladipo's career and his second this season.
