Schwarber Tabbed as Central Regional Player of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Sophomore Kyle Schwarber was selected by CollegeBaseballInsider.com as the Louisville Slugger Central Regional Player of the Week on Wednesday (March 13) after his dominating performance over the weekend at Florida. It marks his second player of the week accolade after also earning Big Ten Player of the Week laurels on Monday (March 11).

Schwarber went 10 for 14 (.714) in three games with a double, a homer, four runs and four RBI as the Hoosiers took two of three at Florida. He posted a slugging percentage of 1.000 and on-base percentage of .733. Schwarber had multiple hits and drove in at least one run in each of the three contests.
