Both Hoosiers will compete in tonight's championship final, led by top qualifier Eric Ress who posted a time of 1:40.29. That is an NCAA A cut and the third-fastest time in school history. James Wells qualified fourth with a career best of 1:41.33, just off the NCAA A Cut by 2/100ths of a second but good enough for the fifth-fastest time in IU history.
