Ferrell Named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana freshman guard Kevin (Yogi) Ferrell was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday, March 4.
Ferrell averaged 14.5 points and 5.0 assists in two games, helping Indiana clinch a share of the Big Ten Championship. He registered a career-high 19 points, shooting 62.5 percent from the field in Saturday's 73-60 win over Iowa, while dishing out five assists. Ferrell also recorded 10 points, five assists, four rebounds and a steal at Minnesota earlier in the week.
He shares this week's honor with Wisconsin's Sam Dekker. It is the second weekly award for Ferrell this season.
