BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - More than 100 student-athletes and coaches from Indiana Athletics participated in Read Across America on Friday, March 1. The group, which spanned 14 different sports, visited 96 classrooms and read to more than 2,600 children from Monroe County.
ABOUT READ ACROSS AMERICA
The National Education Association is building a nation of readers through its signature program, NEA's Read Across America. Now in its 16th year, this year-round program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources.
