NCAA Bloomington Baseball Regional Teams to Hold Open Practices Thursday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - As Indiana University gets set to host the Bloomington NCAA Baseball Regional this weekend, all four teams participating will hold practices at Bart Kaufman Field on Thursday, May 30. The practices will be open to the general public as each team will take the field for an hour and 15 minutes. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Indiana, the top seed and host of the regional, will take to the field at 10 a.m. Second-seeded Austin Peay will begin practice at 11:30 a.m. Florida and Valparaiso will wrap up the day with afternoon practices as the third-seeded Gators will start at 1 p.m. and the fourth-seeded Crusaders will be on the field at 2:30 p.m.
Regional play will begin on Friday, May 31, as Austin Peay and Florida will battle at 1 p.m. IU will take on Valparaiso in the nightcap at 7 p.m. The four-team double elimination event will run through Monday, June 3, if necessary.
All-session tickets are currently on sale at the IU Ticket Office or by calling 1-866-IUSPORTS or 812-855-4006. Single-session tickets will be available beginning on Friday at 9 a.m. in Assembly Hall and at Bart Kaufman Field at 11 a.m. and through the entire weekend.
