Sinclair Leads USA All-Stars in Win Over Hungary

PINGXIANG, China - Aulani Sinclair tallied 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the NetScouts Basketball USA All-Stars in a 98-86 comeback win over the national team of Hungary on June 18. Sinclair, an Indiana women's basketball graduate, is in the midst of an 11-game tour of China with a group of 12 former student-athletes from the United States.
USA trailed by as many as 15 points in the second quarter before outscoring Hungary 53-36 in the second half to seal the victory. Sinclair scored 14 of her team-leading 22 points in the second half and connected on six 3-point field goals in the game.
The Americans had a huge advantage on the boards, outrebounding Hungary 58-27, with 21 of those rebounds coming on the offensive end.
The USA All-Stars are currently 2-0 so far on the trip. In the team's first game on the tour, USA took down Australia, 82-49. Sinclair had four points and two rebounds in that contest.
Next up for the United States is China. China is also 2-0 in the round robin format. Tonight's matchup will be the title game for the Pingxiang portion of the tour.
