MOSCOW, Russia - Indiana track and field alum De'Sean Turner took fifth in his heat of the 3,000m steeplechase, narrowly missing out on the finals of the IAAF World Championships. The 2012 IU graduate ran 8:28.44 for fifth in his heat, clocking the fourth fastest time to miss out on the finals. The Indianapolis native is representing Team USA for the first time in his career.
