Opening Statement:
"That was nothing close to what we expected or wanted, but the reality is it was what happened. Early in the game, we gave them advantages because of mistakes on special teams and mistakes on offense such as turnovers and not sustaining drives and it gave them short fields. Things got away from us fast. We got to a point right after halftime where we had a chance to get back in the game, and I believed we were going to come back and win but we weren't able to keep that going and it continued to get away from us."
On the teams early mistakes:
"It was very frustrating and made things very difficult for us, like the fact that we started off the game with a loose snap from center by two new guys. As the night went on, those guys did some good things, but that low snap ended up giving them the ball inside the 20 on their first series."
On Shakir Bell's injury:
"The good news is that they did an x-ray and there is nothing broken. He has a shoulder injury, and we're going to wait and see the severity of it as we go along. It's not dislocated, but we will have to wait and see what exactly it is."
On losing Bell early in the second half:
"Obviously Shakir Bell is a good football player and when he is out of the game it makes things tougher, but you have to overcome that. The other running backs got in there and were productive and that's what we need from other guys."
