The Hoosiers match up with Wyoming for the first time since 1988 in a series that includes three matches, with IU holding a 2-1 advantage. The Cowgirls are led by Erin Kirby, who has 79 kills this season with a .382 hitting percentage. Wyoming's lone loss of the season was a four-setter against Cal State Bakersfield.
Tennessee State squares off with Indiana for the first time ever. They'll have fresh legs, having taken the weekend off last week, following 1-2 weekend in the first week of the season. The Tigers are led by Naomi Wells who is averaging 4.00 kills per set and is second on the team with 32 digs on the season.
UAB will look to avenge a 2010 loss to IU in the only ever meeting between the two schools. Kiriana Hirini leads the Blazers, as she has 57 kills and is swinging at a .455 clip this season. UAB has a three pronged attack, with Sam Skinner, Sara Rishell and Hirini all posting impressive numbers this season.
LEADING THE CHARGE
The captains of the 2013 IU Volleyball team, as elected by the players, are Caitlin Hansen and Jade Henderson. The team also has started a leadership council this season which includes Jordan Haverly, Melanie Hicks, Morgan Leach and Katie Gallagher.
Henderson and Hansen will be the team's designated leaders on the court. Each of the four members of the Leadership Counsel will be the team's go-to leader for designated areas. Hicks will be in charge of Gameday Preparation, Haverly will take the lead for Academics, Leach is in charge of Treatment and Recovery, and Gallagher will spearhead Community Outreach.
