NICE, France - Derek Drouin wrapped up what was a long 2013 season this weekend, taking the high jump title at the Francophone Games. The IU legend cleared 2.30m (7-6.5) on his first attempt to clinch the title, the first major international title he has won as a senior competitor. The Francophone Games are held every four years and feature athletes from French-speaking countries. Drouin is a finalist for The Bowerman, which will be awarded in December at the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national convention in Orlando, Fla., on December 18.
