• IU continues to lead the all-time series between the two schools, 111-49.
• The Hoosiers outrebounded Northwestern, 41-40, and have outrebounded opponents in 17-of-18 games this season.
• Indiana led Northwestern, 12-4, in second chance points.
• IU held Northwestern to 37.3 percent shooting, including 27.6 percent in the first half. It is the ninth time the Hoosiers have held an opponent under 40 percent for a game.
• Indiana committed just nine turnovers, its second consecutive game with single-digit turnovers (nine against Wisconsin).
• Freshman Noah Vonleh posted his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Vonleh’s six offensive rebounds matched a season-high.
• Vonleh went 2-of-4 from three-point range and is 8-for-11 from beyond the arc in his last five games.
• Sophomore Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell scored nine points.
• Graduate transfer Evan Gordon scored seven points and added three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 32 minutes.
• Sophomore Austin Etherington scored six points and grabbed a career-high six rebounds in a career-high 19 minutes.
• Sophomore Hanner Mosquera-Perea had four points, four rebounds and one blocked shot in eight minutes.
• Freshman Stanford Robinson scored two points, grabbed five rebounds and added one assist and one steal.
• Senior Will Sheehey scored two points, giving him 953 in his career, and he now trails Luke Recker for 49th on the IU career scoring list by just one point.
