IU Women's Tennis Opens Dual Schedule this Weekend

Indiana vs. Eastern Kentucky Match Program

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 40 Indiana women's tennis team will open dual play this weekend with a trio of matches. The first two will take place as part of a double-header on Saturday, Jan. 25 on the road against Xavier at 11 a.m. ET and then Cincinnati at 3:30 p.m. The Hoosiers will then host Eastern Kentucky at the IU Tennis Center on Sunday, Jan. 26, at Noon.

Both Indiana and Xavier will be playing in their first dual matches of the season. The Hoosiers topped the Musketeers last year, 6-1, in Bloomington.

Cincinnati has two dual matches under its belt. The Bearcats topped in-state foe Toledo, 4-3, on Jan. 17, then fell on the road to No. 42 Kentucky the following day. Indiana defeated Cincinnati in last year's matchup, 7-0.

Eastern Kentucky will host a double-header on Saturday, Jan. 25 before arriving in Bloomington to take on the Hoosiers on Sunday.
