Hoosiers Take 6-1 Victory Over Samford

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Indiana men’s tennis team won its opening match of the ITA Kickoff with a 6-1 victory over Samford.
Sam Monette and Daniel Bednarczyk got things started for the Hoosiers with a 6-3 doubles victory. Sven Lalic and Dimitrije Tasic clinched the doubles point for the Hoosiers with a 6-2 win.
The Hoosiers won five of the six singles matches to take the 6-1 victory. Up next Indiana will play the winner of the match between Virginia and Elon.
