BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - This week IUHoosiers.com gets to know redshirt senior shortstop Breanna Saucedo.

Saucedo appeared and started in the first six games of the season at shortstop before being sidelined due to season-ending injury against Miami (Ohio) The California native registered a hit in all but one game played to aid her to a .524 batting average and .524 on-base percentage while averaging 1.84 hits per contest. She collected multiple hits in four consecutive games, scoring six runs and strikeing out just once in 21 at bats.
