Six Hoosiers Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
Six members of the 2013-14 Indiana softball team have been named National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athletes for their academic success during the school year. The honor is awarded to those student-athletes who achieved a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average during the 2013-14 academic year. More than 4,600 student athletes from seven member divisions were recognized by the NFCA for their academic success.
Indiana players Jenna Abraham, Lora Olson, Kassi Farmer, Michelle Huber and Breanna Saucedo, as well as student coach Amanda Wagner are among those being recognized.
This is the third consecutive NFCA Scholar Athlete Award for Abraham, who posted a 3.97 GPA as a Community Health major. Farmer earns her second consecutive award with a 3.79 GPA.
