Indiana Team Notes |
• IU rushed for 200 yards for the fifth time in as many games this season, the sixth straight game dating back to last year and the 16th time in head coach Kevin Wilson's 41 games. The Hoosiers finished with 363 yards on 44 attempts, a 8.2 average.
• Today is the first time since Sept. 27, 2008, against Michigan State, the Hoosiers had a 70-yard pass and a 70-yard rush. Shane Wynn scored on a 76-yard pass from Nate Sudfeld in the third quarter.
• In the Wilson era (2011-present), this marks the 11th time that IU's offense has gained over 550 yards (593) of total offense and fourth time they have had over 350 yards on the ground (363).
• True freshman Devine Redding scored his first career touchdown late in the fourth quarter on a three-yard rush.
• Redshirt freshman nose tackle Nate Hoff and junior bandit Zack Shaw shared a sack in the second quarter. Each has 1.5 on the season and Shaw now owns five in his career.
•Junior defensive tackle Adarius Rayner added his first sack of the season and the fourth of his career in the fourth quarter.
• True freshman linebacker Tegray Scales and redshirt freshman safety Chase Dutra each recorded their first career interceptions and pushed the Hoosiers season total to four. Indiana turned the first North Texas miscue into points when Coleman scored. This is the first time IU has had two interceptions since the Missouri game on Sept. 21, 2013.
• The Hoosiers scored 21 points in the opening quarter, their highest output since the second quarter of last year's Old Oaken Bucket victory over Purdue on Nov. 30. Indiana also scored 21 in the third quarter.
• IU scored on its opening drive for the second time this season, both touchdowns. Indiana also reached the end zone in the season-opening win over Indiana State.
• Redshirt freshman kicker Griffin Oakes converted his first career onside kick attempt and sophomore bandit Clyde Newton made the recovery. The Hoosiers last successful onside kick came on Nov. 17, 2012, at Penn State. Mitch Ewald recovered his own kick.
• Redshirt Junior Erich Toth had a 46-yard punt downed at the North Texas 1-yard line early in the second quarter. Toth averaged 42.5 on four punts with two dropped inside the 20 (15).
• The Hoosiers posted a 3-1 non-conference mark, Wilson's best in four seasons and the best for Indiana since the 2010 team won three of its four.
• True freshman tight end Jordan Fuchs made his first career reception a memorable one, a 12-yard touchdown from Sudfeld.
• Sophomore Dimitric Camiel earned his first career start at right tackle.
• Cornerback Tim Bennett (first time this season), defensive lineman Bobby Richardson (third) and center Collin Rahrig (third) served as game captains.
• Indiana won the opening coin toss and elected to defer.
• IU wore the crimson helmets with the pink IU logo in support of breast cancer awareness.

• Tevin Coleman recorded his seventh straight 100-yard game, the longest streak in the nation and the ninth in his career, with 150 yards on 17 carries (8.8 average) and one touchdown. He extended his Indiana record by scoring a TD in his 14th straight game, which is also the longest streak in the nation.
• The junior's seven straight 100-yard games are third in program history, trailing only Thompson (1988) and Vaughn Dunbar's (1991) eight consecutive games. His nine 100-yard games are tied for ninth in school history with Stephen Houston (2011-13).
• Coleman, who became the 12th Hoosier to surpass 2,000 career yards, broke free for a 74-yard run, the second-longest of his career and the third 70-plus yard run of his career en route to his fifth career 150-yard game. On the Hoosiers career lists, Coleman is tied for sixth with 21 rushing scores, ninth with 22 total touchdowns and 12th with 2,024 rushing yards.

Senior RB D'Angelo Roberts |
• D'Angelo Roberts added 47- and 3-yard touchdown runs in the second half for his third career multi-TD game of his career and his second this season. The 47-yarder was a career-long rush and Roberts set a career-high with his fifth rushing TD of 2014. Roberts now has 12 in his career.
• The Bloomington, Ind., native finished the game with 14 rushes for 102 yards (7.3). This was his fourth career 100-yard game and second of the season.

• Shane Wynn passed the 100-yard mark for the third time in his career and the second time this season with five receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns of 45 and 76 yards.
• Wynn moved into fourth in receptions (159), fourth in receiving touchdowns (19) and a tie for ninth (with Coleman) in total TDs (22) on Indiana's career lists.
• The Cleveland, Ohio, native owns seven career 40-plus yard TD receptions and nine overall (one kick return, one punt return). Sudfeld has thrown nine 40-plus yard career scores (two today).

• Nate Sudfeld is fifth in passing scores (33) and eighth in completions (342) on the program's career lists. He became the ninth Hoosiers quarterback to pass for 4,000 career yards (4,221) and is ninth on the all-time charts.
• This marks the junior's 10th career 200-yard pass game and fourth game with at least three touchdown passes. His 79.3 completion percentage is second for a single game in Indiana history behind Matt LoVecchio's 88.2 percent (15-of-17) in 2004 at Illinois.
