  Junior RB Tevin Coleman

 Tevin Coleman recorded a career-high 307 yards, the second-most in Indiana history and a Rutgers stadium record on a career-best 32 rushes, a 9.6 average, and a 67-yard touchdown run. Anthony Thompson holds the school record with 377 yards (52 caries) at Wisconsin on Nov. 11, 1989.

 Coleman’s three 200-yard games in 2014 (Lonnie Johnson, 1980 and Alex Smith, 1994), three career 200-yard games in Big Ten play (Anthony Thompson, 1986-89), two 200-yard games in Big Ten play in 2014 (five others) and four career 200-yard games (Alex Smith, 1994-96) each share a program record.

 The last Hoosier with two 200-yard rushing games against a Big Ten opponent in the same season was Levron Williams in 2001.

 On IU’s single-season lists, Coleman is tied for first in 200-yard games (three), third in 100-yard games (nine), tied for third in 150-yard games (five), fourth in rushing yardage (1,678), seventh in all-purpose yardage (1,810) and tied for ninth in rushing touchdowns (12). Vaughn Dunbar holds the program record with 1,805 rushing yards in 1991.

 On IU’s career lists, Coleman is tied for first in 200-yard games (four), tied for third in 150-yard games (seven), tied for fourth in rushing touchdowns (25), tied for sixth in 100-yard games (13), seventh in total touchdowns (26), seventh in rushing yardage (2,861) and eighth in all-purpose yardage (3,925).

 The Tinley Park, Ill., native now owns four 60-plus yard TDs in 2014 and seven in his career.

  Senior WR Shane Wynn

 Shane Wynn moved into third in receptions (176), tied for third in receiving touchdowns (20), fourth in all-purpose yardage (4,231), seventh in receiving yardage (2,058) and ninth in total touchdowns (24) on IU’s career lists. The senior is also third in kick return yardage (1,854).

 Wynn finished with his fourth-career 100-yard game as he pulled in his fourth-career double-digit effort with 11 catches for 120 yards and a 28-yard touchdown.

  Freshman QB Zander Diamont

 Zander Diamont connected with Wynn from 28 yards out for his first career touchdown. The true freshman went 15-of-31 for 179 yards, all career highs. He also had a career-long pass of 30 yards.

  Sophomore LB T.J. Simmons

 Sophomore linebacker T.J. Simmons forced the first fumble of his career in the first quarter.

 Simmons tied for the team lead with seven tackles, the fifth time this season that he has at least shared the IU lead in tackles.

  Sophomore S Antonio Allen

 Sophomore safety Antonio Allen also had a team-high seven tackles. Allen and Simmons are tied for the team lead on the season with 58 each.

  RS-Freshman DT Nate Hoff

 Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Nate Hoff matched a career high with two tackles for loss and now has a team-best eight in 2014.

  RS-Freshman K Griffin Oakes

 Kicker Griffin Oakes opened the game with an onside kick recovery. The redshirt freshman is a perfect 3-for-3 this season with previous recoveries by Clyde Newton (North Texas) and Tegray Scales (Iowa).

 Oakes matched a career-high with three field goals, which shares seventh in IU history, from 48, 36 and 22 yards. He is 8-of-12 on the year, 3-of-3 from 30-39 yards and 2-of-3 from 40-49 yards. Oakes has two multi-field goal games this season, as he also hit three against Maryland.

  Indiana Team Notes

 Safety Chase Dutra forced his first career fumble and cornerback Rashard Fant collected his first career fumble recovery. The redshirt freshmen combined for Indiana’s 10th takeaway - eight interceptions and two fumbles.

 True freshman J-Shun Harris finished with a career-high 125 kick return yards on six returns.

 Junior wide receiver Andre Booker earned his first career start.

 Running back Tevin Coleman (first time this season), safety Mark Murphy (third time) and defensive lineman Bobby Richardson (seventh time) served as game captains.

 Indiana won the coin toss for the fifth time this season and deferred for the fifth time.

 IU wore the crimson state flag helmets for the second time this season.
