GAME NOTES
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – On Saturday the Indiana volleyball team will honor senior Morgan Leach as she plays her final match at University Gym, against the team she grew up down the road from.
Leach, a native of Champaign, Ill., and the Hoosiers will battle No. 10 Illinois on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
COACH DUNBAR ON SENIOR Morgan Leach
“She has always been a team-first person. When we talked at the beginning of the season it was about how she could help the team and the program. She acts like one of the players and wants to lead by example. I’m going to miss her a lot and she has left a lasting legacy on this program.”
WHAT A DIFFERENT A YEAR MAKES
Last year at this point in the season the Hoosiers were 9-20 and 1-16 in conference play. The Hoosiers have gone from one Big Ten win a season ago to six this season, something that only three teams in the conference have done since 1985. Additionally, the Hoosiers have equaled their Big Ten win total from the previous three seasons combined this year.
HOLIDAYS WITH THE HOOSIERS
The volleyball team asks that if you can, bring a new toy to help the Hoosiers spread some holiday cheer this winter seasons. All toys will be donated to children of Monroe County.

Sophomore Megan Tallman recorded her 1,000th career assist in the Hoosiers match vs. UIC on Sept. 12 and continues to climb the record books. Tallman is currently ninth in career assists with 1,750 and in the win vs. Rutgers on Wednesday, Tallman recorded her 1,000th assist of the season, becoming just the 14th IU player to reach 1,000 or more assists in a season. Tallman currently has 1,061 for the 2013-14 campaign.
